The island of Pag is located between the island of Rab, Olib
and Vir, close to the land. Pag stands out with its area of 286.6 km2 which
puts him as one of the largest islands in the Adriatic Sea. With 270 km of
coastline, the island has the longest coastline on the Adriatic, rich reefs,
beaches, bays and coves. The excitement and peculiarity of the island are
numerous sources of drinking water and the water on the island mainly comes
under the seabed with towering slopes. Although the climate on the island is
Mediterranean, Velebit makes it so influential on the vegetation that the
island is heavily frosted and completely naked on the eastern part.
