Brac is a Croatian island in the Adriatic Sea near Split.
With an area of 395 km2 it’s the third largest island in the Adriatic Sea.
According to the 2011th census , on the island live 14.434 inhabitants.

The island has a Mediterranean climate which is characterized
by hot and dry summers and mild, short winters. If it snows in the winter, even
though it is a very small probability, it falls up to two days and is dissolved
in about 10 hours. The average summer temperature is 25 ° C, and winter is 9 °
C. The sea temperature in summer is 24 ° C, and in winter it comes down even to
14 ° C. The highest peak is Vidova gora, which is the highest peak of the
Adriatic Sea with a height of 778 m.

People on the island are engaged in animal husbandry,
cultivation of vines and olive, and stone processing. Brac stone is very famous
in the world for its exceptional quality and these stones are extracted in
quarries in Pučište. The stone was used to build Diocletian's Palace in Split,
the lobby of the United Nations and says it is likely the same stone used to
build the White House in Washington, although there are some accurate records
of it.

people engaged in tourism, Brac is also a very popular tourist destination in
the summer and is characterized by very nice and clean beaches. In the town of
Bol is the most famous beach on the island and is called Zlatni rat. Zlatni rat
is probably the most famous beach on the Adriatic because of its extreme
strangeness and beauty. Uniqueness of the beach is also that changes shape and
